This is a complex example of using PHP Interfaces. Sorry I could not think of a simpler example of making use of it — I rarely use these and prefer Abstract classes, though they are different. In my opinion, interfaces would be used for a larger system where a clear and concise structure is required for a team of developers, rather than a 1 person show.
